Springtime Bloomin'

Hey all! Long time no talk. I feel like I always go through phases where I’ll be pretty good about updating the blog and then a couple months will go by with nothing new, so SORRY!! The whole having a new job and moving out of your parent’s house has definitely been a transition, but I definitely don’t want to put off my blog like I have been. I truly love content creating, styling and blogging as it brings out this creative energy in me that I do not get to use at my day-to-day job. So here’s to being more active on here and creating more content that I love!

As we are in full swing of spring, I find myself awestruck at all the beauty that has been blooming right before us. SoCal got so lucky with all the rain this past winter, and now we have the prettiest flowers blooming everywhere! This past weekend as I was driving home, I saw the prettiest of bougainvillea bushes that literally had me go “OMG”. Bougainvilleas have always been some of my favorite flowers, because they always remind me of my grandma. Funny thing is, they were actually growing on the side of a Kaiser hospital. Goes to show that you don’t need to travel far or to expensive places to find beautiful spots.

For this shoot, I styled this gingham midi dress by Nectar (that just so happened to match perfectly with the pretty flowers), my favorite hat that I’ve literally been wearing every change I’ve gotten by Urban Outfitters, & this thrifted vintage snakeskin purse I scored from one of the antique stores in Old Towne Orange.
